I've been @ bro's for 2 1/2 days. The youngest is still pretty fussy with chicken pox, but he's improving.
This morning my nephew-in-law had made it to Miami. He had a 4 hour layover there & then would be on his way home. I haven't heard anything, but I assume he is home.
Talked to mother-in-law tonight & as she put it, it really isn't good news. She has Stage 3 Lymphoma. The Dr did say it was curable. She starts chemo on Monday. She goes to a hospital 90 miles away from her home...stays for 3 days of chemo..goes home..then returns 3 weeks later to do it again..this goes on for 6 months. She was doing fine telling us until she had to tell the part where she can't travel for these 6 months. Then she broke down crying...she will mis both our boys graduations..and she had been looking SO forward to it. The Dr said he doesn't anticipate her being sick, but she might lose her hair. He did say this was a very aggressive treatment. I think this is called Bulgia or something like that...very rare in adults. Father-in-law is taking this very hard. Mother-in-law is tired! I think she is doing well though.

I'm so sorry about your mom-in-law, Daphne! I know that it is sad that she will miss the boys graduations, but it is good news that the doc says it's curable. My prayers are with all of you as you go through this very difficult time.
I hope that all the sick ones at your bro's house are feeling better very soon!
